Hello Rebels!
It’s a busy week here in NYC. We have a ton of amazing event's coming up, but first we want to let you know -
Extinction Rebellion NYC is proud to be partnering with:
Come out to support the youth with us at Columbus Circle on Friday 3/15 at 2pm. There will be an XR NYC contingent for you to join on site, just look for people with XR gear on. Come out and show your support. Here’s the link for more info - please share it on social media!
**Make sure to look at the weather report. It might be raining, so bring rain gear, as well as some rain gear for your creative signs!
Monthly Potluck
We also have our Potluck coming up on Sunday, which is open to new people as well as the more seasoned XR rebel. There will be delicious food to partake in, mingling with your fellow rebels, and time for learning more about topics like Direct Action from some special guests!

Upcoming Trainings This Week
Intro Calls on Zoom - These are for new people, as well as existing XR NYC members, to learn more about how Extinction Rebellion works. If it’s your first time on zoom, please allow yourself 10 minutes to get setup before the call. (email us with any questions if you have issues with getting zoom setup)

---International Rebellion Week - Starting April 15th
Get the ideas flowing for actions! As we re-build and grow, we will be looking forward toward the week of April 15th and being a part of actions all around the world.
Stay tuned for more info on weekly working group meetings and many other things in the works.
Here’s what you can do in the meantime -
DONATE money to fund the resistance. We are in need of one time and monthly donations to get the movement going!
SPREAD THE WORD. Host a house meeting and get your friends, family, and coworkers involved. (Email [email protected] to host!)
SPEAK THE TRUTH: In every conversation, every political action, every demand you make, tell the truth about the climate crisis. Don’t settle for anything less than zero emissions by 2025.
